Innovation in the Cockpit: Enhancing the Pilot-to-Aircraft Experience with Next-Gen Tech

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

As technology advances, the systems onboard commercial aircraft have evolved to allow for a more responsive and seamless experience for pilots – translating to a smoother flight for air travelers. Commercial avionics provider BAE Systems, Inc. and business jet manufacturer Gulfstream will discuss how innovations in aircraft design – including the shift from mechanical to digital subsystems, recent moves towards fuel savings and more technologically advanced air transport – are changing commercial aviation. The panel will also take a look at innovations in the cockpit and how advanced technologies, such as BAE Systems’ active side sticks and Gulfstream’s symmetry cockpit, are enhancing the pilot-to-aircraft experience.
